HEART HEALTHY CHICKEN IN GRAVY image

3 Tbs flour
1 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
vegetable spray
2 - 5 oz boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 Tbs light tub masrgarine
1 tsp also salt
10 snow pea pods
2 oz sliced mushrooms
2 small yukon gold potatoes
1/2 cup frozen corn

Steps:

  • Cook flour in skillet for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown. remove from heat and set on plate to cool.Put the broth, paprika, garlic powder, poultry sesaoning and cooled flour in an airthigh bowl and shake until well blended. Set aside. Lightly spray skillet with vegetable oil. Cook chicken side down for 2 minutes until it starts to brown. Remove chicken. Melt hte margarine in the skillet and pour in the broth mixture and stir until thickened. Place chicken in gravy and add snow peas, mushrooms, potatoes , corn and 1 tsp alson salt. Cover and slow simmer for 10 minutes.
