Healthy Turkey Chili image

This is a basic turkey chili with a lot of flavor and not a lot of calories.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 pound(s) ground turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
1 - bell pepper, chopped
28 ounce(s) crushed tomatoes
2 can(s) any type of beans, 2 different kinds
2 cup(s) water
1 tablespoon(s) garlic, minced
2 teaspoon(s) chili powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) paprika
1/2 teaspoon(s) oregano
1/2 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon(s) cumin
1.2 teaspoon(s) black pepper

Steps:

  • In a large heavy bottomed pot, brown ground turkey until cooked through. Drain fat. Add onion and pepper and saute until soft. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Makes about 10-1 cup servings.
