Ham and Noodle Casserole image

Simple and quick casserole!

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/4 cup(s) butter, melted
1 cup(s) onion, chopped
1/2 pound(s) wide egg noodles, cooked al dente and drained
1/2 cup(s) sour cream
2 - eggs, beaten
2 cup(s) cooked ham, chopped
1/2 teaspoon(s) caraway seeds
1 pinch(es) ground mace
1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
1/2 cup(s) milk
3/4 cup(s) buttered panko crumbs

Steps:

  • Butter a 2 quart casserole. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cook onion in the butter to soften.
  • Add the cooked, drained noodles to the pan and stir to coat well.
  • Add the sour cream and beaten eggs, stirring to mix.
  • Mix in the ham, caraway seeds, mace and pepper.
  • Add the milk to lighten the mixture.
  • Turn into prepared casserole. Top with bread crumbs .
  • Bake 40-45 minutes.
