This makes for a great meal any time of year. You can put in all shrimp, all chicken or all sausage. We like it best with a little bit of all 3 meats and alot of okra for a very hearty dish.

Steps:
- Saute vegetable in butter until done.
- Add flour & stir until bubbly.
- Remove from heat & stir in all ingredients, except shrimp.
- Simmer, uncovered for 45 minutes on low.
- Add shrimp & cook until no longer pink.
- Remove the bay leaf & discard.
- Serve over cooked rice.
