4 - new york strip steaks, 1 inch thick, steak of your choice
LOGAN'S HOUSE SEASONING
1/4 cup(s) garlic, granulated
1/4 cup(s) onion, granulated
1/4 cup(s) black pepper, course ground
1 cup(s) kosher salt
3 tablespoon(s) thyme, dried
1 tablespoon(s) cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • mix all the seasoning ingredients together. the house seasoning can be stored up to 6 months in an airtight container, in a cool dry place.
  • dust both sides of the steak with seasoning. on a greased hot grill, grill steaks about 4-5 minutes on each side or until preferred doneness. remove and let rest 5-10 minutes.
  • you can add a little evoo on both sides of the steak then add house seasoning. make sure that the steaks are at room temperature before grilling.
