Gran's Lemonade Recipe - (4.4/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups hot tap water
1 cup fresh lemon juice
Cracked ice
Lemon slices for garnish
Mint sprigs for garnish

Steps:

  • Combine the sugar and water in a glass pitcher and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the lemon juice and stir to blend. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Fill tall glasses with ice and pour the lemonade over it. Garnish with lemon slices and mint. Serve immediately. Killer Lemonade - Puree some fresh or frozen strawberries or raspberries in a blender, and add 1 tablespoon of puree to each glass of lemonade. Stir to mix. Serve immediately.
