Grandma's chicken n rice image

my grandma made this for me mad some alternation (boneless instead of bone in)

3 lb chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
2 c rice, instant and uncooked
2 can(s) cream of chicken soup
4 c milk
1 pinch garlic powder
1 pinch onion powder
2 pinch mrs dashes seasoning
5 Tbsp butter, softened
SEASONNGS YOU CAN ADD MORE IF WANTED AND BE PREPARED TO HAVE WATER

Steps:

  • 1. cut chcken nto squares as small as possible. Then saute n skllet till white.
  • 2. pour soup, milk, and seasonings into crock-pot. turn on high. cook while chicken turning white after chicken is white pour into crock. cook for 30-45 mins.
  • 3. after 30-45 mins add rice, cook another 20-30 mins. check for rice tenderness. if not enough fluids in crock with periodic checks add WATER 1/4 cup at time till satisfied if too thin add more milk.
  • 4. after rice tender cool if want ENJOY!!!!! ADD MORE SEASONINGD AS WANTED OR NEEDED
