Gram's Baked Beans in a Crockpot image

This is a recipe my gram has made since I can remember, she has passed away many years ago. Plain and simple but everyone loves them.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 can(s) the tall can, i use bushes with brown sugar
1/4 c ketchup
2 Tbsp molasses
2 Tbsp light brown sugar
4 strip of bacon, i use turkey bacon by butterball

Steps:

  • 1. Turn on crockpot to high to heat up. Put strips of bacon on plate with papertowels to absorb any grease in microwave for about 3 min. I like mine crispy.
  • 2. In crockpot add all ingredients. Break-up bacon to little pieces and also add. Cook in crockpot for 3 hours on high, then turn down to warm until you are ready to serve.
  • 3. For a party of 20-25 people, I x's this recipe by 4..
