Gluten-free, sugar-free, super-easy apple crisp sweetened with maple syrup. Delicious on its own or with ice cream! This dish is excellent warm or cold. Healthy enough to eat for breakfast!

6 cups apple wedges
ground cinnamon to taste
¾ cup chopped walnuts
¾ cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons brown rice flour
2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
1 pinch ground cinnamon, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Fill a baking dish with apples and sprinkle cinnamon to taste over the apples.
  • Mix walnuts, pecans, and brown rice flour together in a bowl. Add grapeseed oil, maple syrup, and cinnamon; stir until completely combined. Spread nut topping over apples.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until apples are cooked through, 30 to 40 minutes.
