Gluten-Free Breading and Gravy Mix image

When I saw how well this worked, I decided to mix up a larger batch to have on hand. I've never liked the mixes that have any sort of bean flour in them, and I also found that mixes are expensive so I made my own. Here's what I did.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 cup white rice flour
½ cup brown rice flour
½ cup cornmeal, or as needed
5 tablespoons potato starch
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 ½ tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon seasoned salt (such as Jane's Krazy Mixed-Up Salt®)
1 tablespoon ground multi-colored pepper, or more to taste
2 teaspoons sea salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon paprika

Steps:

  • Combine white rice flour, brown rice flour, cornmeal, potato starch, cornstarch, onion powder, seasoned salt, multi-colored pepper, sea salt, and paprika in an an airtight container or resealable plastic bag.
