Garlic Bubble Loaf image

Quick and easy substitute for making a loaf of garlic bread. I like that I can just pull a 'bubble' off and pop it into my mouth.

Time 1h40m

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/4 c butter or margarine, melted
1 Tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 lg tube of refrigerated biscuits or 1 loaf frozen bread, thawed

Steps:

  • 1. In a bowl, combine butter, parsley, garlic powder and garlic salt. Cut dough into 1" pieces; dip each into butter mixture, covering as much as possible. (You can use more butter mixture if desired).
  • 2. Layer dipped pieces in a greased 9x5x3" loaf pan.
  • 3. Cover and let rise* until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  • 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 1 loaf.
  • 5. NOTE: *I have only done this using biscuits. You can put them in the oven immediately after preparing them, and that eliminates the hour to raise the regular bread dough.
