FRYING PAN CHOCOLATE CAKE image

CAKE
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup flour
3 Tblsp. cocoa
1 cup buttermilk (if you don't have any on hand, you can add 1 tsp. vinegar to regular milk and "make your own.")
1 tsps. vanilla
ICING
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 TBS butter
1/4 cup cocoa
2 TBS kayro syrup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 10 or 11 inch frying pan/skillet. Mix all ingredients for cake in bowl. Pour into skillet and bake for 35 minutes. While cake is baking, prepare icing. Put all ingredients into a small saucepan. Mix and bring to a light boil. Boil for 1 minute. Pour hot icing over cake as soon as it comes out of the oven. Let cool and enjoy!
