Frozen Carrots for Teething Baby image

This is a simple homemade way to calm a teething baby with something wholesome. It works awesome in the summer. Store in the freezer. It is a great way to get a nutritious snack into any age as well.

3 large carrots, trimmed and peeled

Steps:

  • Fill a pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Add carrots and boil until cooked but not too soft, 5 to 8 minutes. Carefully remove carrots and cut in half crosswise.
  • Place each carrot half in a zip-top bag. Put in the freezer until frozen, at least 2 hours. Store in the freezer until ready to use.
