These are so delicious! Occasionally I make them as an appetizer to go with the Chinese food I make. Love them!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 pound(s) ground, unseasoned pork
2 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
1 - green onion, very thinly sliced
1 clove(s) garlic, minced
1 - egg, lightly beaten
1 package(s) commercial wonton wrappers
1 cup(s) cold water

Steps:

  • Combine first 5 ingredients and mix well.
  • Place pork mixture by teaspoonfuls into the center of each won ton. Moisten edges of wonton with cold water to help seal it.
  • Fold over diagonally covering the pork mixture. Bring sides up to center to form kind of a trangular shaped envelope. Drop won tons into hot peanut oil and deep fry until golden and crispy.
  • serve with sweet & sour or duck sauce for dipping.
