Fresh Tomato Salsa Crudo image

Nothing could be easier: no muss, no fuss, no preservatives" and no jars. Try this fresh salsa as a spread in wraps, served over fish fillets or as a topper with low-fat sour cream on a baked potato. Theres no cooking involved, and only fresh herbs can give you this much taste for such minimal effort.

3 1/2 c chopped cherry tomatoes (about 2 pounds)
1 clove clove garlic, minced
1/4 c minced flat-leaf parsley leaves
1/4 c minced basil leaves
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp coarsely chopped fresh thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp crushed red chili pepper flakes
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • 1. No cook Sauce...
  • 2. Combine all the ingredients in a large stainless steel or glass bowl. Let the sauce sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
