FRESH LEMON COOKIES image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp lemon zest
2 tbsp lemon juice

Steps:

  • Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add egg, lemon zest and juice; beat well. Add dry ingredients and stir until blended. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonsful onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
