French Toast Casserole Recipe - (4.1/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 10

Topping:
1 loaf French Bread
10 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups half and half
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup soft butter
1 1/3 cups chopped pecans (optional)
1 1/3 cups brown sugar

Steps:

  • Slice bread into 3/4 to 1 inch thick slices. Place bread in a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Mix all the other section one ingredients in a blender(or use mixer); pour over bread. Combine topping ingredients and crumble over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove and serve immediately.
