French Onion Meatloaf image

1 (10 1/2 ounce) can French onion soup
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 stalk celery, chopped
3 scallions, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • MIX all ingredients thoroughly. Shape firmly into 8"x4" loaf pan, or shape with aluminum foil in another pan, which is what WE did the first time --
  • BAKE 30-45 min or until done. Open after 30 minutes to spoon juices and check meatloaf.
