FREEZER COLE SLAW image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
1 carrot, grated
1 green or red pepper, chopped
Dressing:
1 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
2 cups sugar

Steps:

  • Add 1 tsp. salt to shredded cabbage. Let stand one hour and squeeze to remove moisture. Add carrot and pepper. Mix dressing ingredients and boil for about one minute. Cool to lukewarm. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture. Mix and chill overnight Scoop into freezer bags and freeze for later use.
