Fragrant Pork Chops image

This recipe is adapted from a Martin Yan cookbook. It is easy enough for every day, but has very sophisticated Chinese-influenced flavors. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 11

4 pork chops (thin, boneless or bone in)
2 -3 tablespoons canola oil
4 tablespoons white wine
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup apple juice
4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon chopped garlic (apprx. 1 clove)
1 teaspoon chopped ginger
2 tablespoons applesauce

Steps:

  • 1. Marinate pork chops for up to 2 hours.
  • 2. Saute chops for approximately 2 minutes on each side over medium high heat until golden brown.
  • 3. Combine sauce ingredients and mix well. Pour over chops and simmer over low heat until thickened, approximately 5 minutes.
