FANNIE'S PECAN PIE image

THIS PIE IS SIMPLE BUT DELICIOUS I USUALLY MAKE IT FOR THE HOLLIDAYS.

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 tablespoon(s) flour
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
1/2 cup(s) sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1/2 cup(s) log cabin maple syrup
1/2 cup(s) light karo syrup
1/4 stick(s) butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
3/4 cup(s) chopped pecans ,or halves
1 - 9-inch pastry shell

Steps:

  • COMBINE FLOUR, SUGAR & EGGS, ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS.
  • POUR INTO PASTRY SHELL AND BAKE AT 450* FOR 7 MIN. LOWER HEAT TO 275*-300* AND BAKE FOR 45-60 MIN. OR UNTIL CENTER IS ALMOST FIRM.
  • SERVE WARM.
  • NOTE: ADD 1/4t.SALT TO YOUR FAVORITE PIE CRUST RECIPE AS THIS COMPLIMENTS THE SWEET FILLING.
