- 1. Put the cucumbers and onions in a bowl. Take the salt and with your hands thouroghly coat the vegetables. Let sit 1 hour. In a saucepan boil celery seed, sugar and vinegar till sugar dissolves. Pour over the cucumber/onions. Store in frige. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH YOU'RE GONNA LOVE THESE!
