Steps:
- 1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. 2. Hollow out the tomatoes, saving or discarding the inside. 3. Crack an egg into each hollowed tomato shell. 4. Cook for 15-25 minutes in a baking dish or ramekin. Test doneness with a fork several times while cooking to make sure the whites have set but the egg yolk is still runny. Oven temperatures vary so watching this carefully is important. A few minutes before ready top each with cheese if you are using some.
