Eggnog Bread image

I found this recipe in the Taste of Home Magazine.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 eggs
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c melted butter
2 1/4 c all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 c eggnog
1/2 c pecans or walnuts
1/2 c rasins
1/2 c red and green candied cherries or fruite cake mix that's what i used

Steps:

  • 1. in large bowl ,beat the eggs,sugar,and butter until well blended. in another bowl mix the flour,baking powder and salt; add to the egg mixture alternately with eggnog. beating just enough untill blended. Fold in the nuts rasins and cherries.
  • 2. Transfer to greased 8x4 in.loaf pan Bake at 350 for 60 to 70 minutes cool in pan 10 min.before removing to a wire rack to cool.
