Easy Sloppy Sliders image

This is a quick & easy way to make a fun version of Sloppy Joes. I only had biscuits on hand, instead of regular hamburger buns. These were great! You can also, in a pinch, use a can of Manwich Sauce over ground beef.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 pound(s) ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1/2 small green pepper, diced
1/4 cup(s) ketchup
1 - small can tomato paste
1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup(s) bbq sauce
- sloppy joe seasoning (to taste)
1 package(s) hawaiian bread rolls - or - small dinner rolls (i've used pillsbury rolls)

Steps:

  • Brown the ground beef. Drain.
  • Saute the onions & peppers. Combine with the beef.
  • Add in the tomato paste, ketchup, brown sugar, BBQ sauce & seasonings.
  • Heat through. Serve on slider buns, or smaller dinner rolls.
  • ** Note: In a real pinch I have used Manwich Sauce with the ground beef, and Pillsbury dinner rolls.
