Easy Peach Cobbler image

Cobbler has always been a favorite of mine, but I don't make it often. Mainly because I am very greedy and my kids make me share. I love the voodoo that occurs when the crust rises through the fruit picking up flavor. Delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup(s) butter
1 cup(s) all purpose flour
1 cup(s) sugar
1 cup(s) milk
2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1 pinch(es) salt
1 can(s) sliced peaches with syrup ( 29 ounce can)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • melt butter and add to pan (I used a standard sized rectangular cake pan)
  • In mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, milk, baking powder and salt until combined.
  • Pour over melted butter in pan but don't mix.
  • Add canned peaches with juice. do not mix!
  • Bake about 35 to 45 minutes until golden browned like picture. Mine took about 40 minutes.
