EASY LAYERED BOSTON CREAM PIE image

1 pkg (3.4 oz) Jello vanilla flavor instant pudding
1-1/2 c cold milk
1-1/2 c thawed Cool Whip topping, divided
1 pkg prepared angel food cake, cut horizontally into 3 layers
2 oz Bakers semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Beat pudding mix and milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in 1/2 c Cool Whip 2. Stack cake layers on plate, spreading pudding mixture between layers. 3. Microwave chocolate and remaining cool whip in microwaveable bowl on high 30 sec. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Spoon over cake. Refrigerate one hour.
