Easy Crock Pot Brisket image

This is the easiest, most delicious brisket you can make. It stays in the Crock Pot, so you don't have to tie up the oven for hours and hours, and it falls apart when ready to eat! I combined several recipes for the marinade and sauce to make it my own. Hope you love it as much as my family does! This goes well with mashed...

Time 10h15m

Number Of Ingredients 7

4-5 lb beef brisket
3 c bbq sauce- your favorite (mine is cattleman's or stubb's)
1 c chopped onions
1/4 c liquid smoke
1/4 c worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Keep Crock Pot on Low setting.
  • 2. Place all the sauce ingredients in your slow cooker. Stir well to blend.
  • 3. Place Brisket in Crock Pot and coat well with sauce. Add enough water to cover the brisket. Push down into the sauce to cover. (keeps it moist)
  • 4. Keep lid on for 8-10 hours. Mmmm...so delicious.
  • 5. *Just a note: If you want a sweeter sauce/marinade, use 1 cup of brown sugar added to the sauce before slow cooking. Stir well. It does change the flavor of the sauce.
