Easy Baked Beans image

My mom used to make her baked beans this way when we were kids. Even though this recipe calls for canned beans, by adding the other ingredients and cooking slowly for a little while, it tastes like you've been cooking all day. The picture is from the internet for illustration only.

1/3 cup(s) brown sugar, lightly packed
1/3 cup(s) maple syrup

  • In a large soup pot of dutch oven, add the bacon and cook over medium heat just until the fat begins to render, about 4 minutes.
