Looking for a good chocolate pie recipe? This could be the one! I was going through my recipes and found this Dream Pie. It is from "Favorite recipes from the Joys of Jello" that was published years ago, probably in the 70s. Some chocolate pies are too rich, too dense or just blah. Try this one! It is smooth, light and luscious. Use a graham cracker crust homemade or store purchased or for the real chocolate fan try a chocolate cookie crust if you want. Instead of vanilla use Amaratto or Kahlua and sprinkle on some toasted almonds which is my change to the original printed recipe.

Steps:
- Beat together the Dream Whip topping mix, 1 cup milk and vanilla (or Amaretto or Kahlua) in large mixer bowl at high speed for about 6 minutes or till thick and can peak.
- Add remaining milk and the pie filling mix and blend at low speed to blend and then at High speed for 2 minutes. Scrape down the bowl occasionally.
- Spoon into pie shell and chill for at least 4 hours. NOTE: I like chocolate, but perhaps you like another flavor of JELLO Pudding and Pie filling to make this pie! Use the 4 serving size Instant pudding mix.
