DR. PEPPER CAKE
I found a Cola cake recipe in an old cookbook. I followed the directions but didn't turn out well. I adjusted the recipe to my taste.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350*.
- 2. In a large bowl, beat the butter, Dr.Pepper and sugar together.
- 3. Mix the cocoa, cinnamon, flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture.
- 4. Beat two eggs with the buttermilk and add to the bowl.
- 5. Bake for 45 minutes.
- 6. For the topping,heat all 5 ingredients. Stir well until smooth.
- 7. Remove cake from oven and pour topping onto cake. Let cake set for 30 minutes before serving.
