Doug's Never-Fail Pie Crust image

Number Of Ingredients 7

4 cups flour
1 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1.75 cups shortening
0.5 cups water
1 units eggs
1 tablespoons cider

Steps:

  • Mix first four ingredients together. Mix well until crumbly.
  • In small bowl, with fork, beat together: 1/2 cup water, egg, vinegar.
  • Combine the two mixtures. Divide in 5 portions in flat patties, ready for rolling.
  • Wrap each in plastic wrap or wax paper. Chill at least 1/2 hour.
