Dijon Steak image

Number Of Ingredients 8

9 tablespoons Dijon mustard
4 tablespoons Ground black pepper
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1/2 cup Minced shallot
1 cup Beef broth
1/4 cup Whipping cream
1/4 cup Cognac or brandy
2 Steak

Steps:

  • Sprinkle steaks with salt
  • Spread mustard on each side of steak
  • 1 tsp of pepper on each side of steak
  • heat oil in heavy skillet on med high heat
  • Add steam 5 min on each side - med rare
  • remove steak
  • add shallots and garlic to pan - 15 sec
  • stir in broth, cream and brandy, 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • boil until thicken
