Crock Pot Chicken And Rice Casserole image

1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 can(s) cream of celery soup
1 soup can of water or milk
4 Tbsp butter
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 1/2 c white rice, uncooked
4 lb chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
paprika

Steps:

  • 1. Coat a crock pot with cooking spray. In a saucepan, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, cream of celery, water, butter and 1 tablespoon of the onion soup mix.
  • 2. Cook, over medium heat, until the butter has melted. Place the uncooked rice in the bottom of the crock pot and pour 2/3 of the soup mixture over the rice.
  • 3. Stir well and place the chicken on top of the rice and soup. Pour the remaining soup mixture on top. Sprinkle with the paprika.
  • 4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. After 2 hours, remove the cover and stir well, otherwise do not remove the cover during cooking unless necessary. You can toss some broccoli in, if desired.
