Yield 4 servings

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 can (15.5 oz.) pineapple slices, drained
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons almond-flavored liqueur
6 oz. PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 cup whipping cream
3 tablespoons powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Cut the pineapple slices in 4 or 5 chunks.
  • In a saucepan, heat the butter and add the pineapple.
  • Cook to medium-high heat until the pineapple starts browning.
  • Add liqueur and let it boil the liquid for 1 to 2 minutes, then remove from the heat and let it stand. The liqueur should be added to the pineapple with the stove top flame turned off as the liqueur could ignite and start a fire.
  • In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese with the electric mixer at medium speed until it gets creamy.
  • Incorporate the pineapple juice (you can use the one from the can) mix again and let it stand.
  • In another bowl, pour the whipping cream, beat until it gets a creamy consistency, add the sugar little by little.
  • Mix the cream in a revolving way with the liqueur, pineapple sauce and cream cheese mixture.
  • Then, pour into four dessert glasses and serve immediately.
