Cream Cheese Kugel image

My aunts, Sylvia and Lucy, gave me this fabulous kugel recipe. It is a creamy, delicious, melt in your mouth kugel. It can be made ahead and reheated.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 lb cream cheese, creamed well
1/2 lb fine noodles, cooked
1/4 lb melted buter
4 eggs, separated
1/2 pt sour cream
4 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. Pour melted butter over cooked noodles.
  • 2. Add creamed cream cheese. Add beaten egg yolks and add sour cream, sugar and vanilla.
  • 3. Mix well and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  • 4. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours in 2 quart greased casserole dish or until brown.
