Cranberry Salad image

This recipe was passed down from my Grandmother, and it's a traditional family favorite at our house!

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 pkg rasberry jello
2 c boiling water
1 can(s) cranberry sauce with whole berries
1 can(s) crushed pineapple (small)
1 pkg cream cheese
1 c chopped nuts

Steps:

  • 1. In a large serving bowl whisk the boiling water into the Rasberry Jello until dissolved.
  • 2. Drain pineapple & add juice only to the hot Jello.
  • 3. Refridgerate for 2 hrs.
  • 4. Remove Jello from the fridge. Mash the cream cheese into the Jello with a fork, breaking cream cheese into tiny pieces. Do not cream together!
  • 5. Fold in remaining ingredients & chill over night.
