Cracked Pepper Zucchini Fries image

These crunchy zucchini fries are easier to make than you might think, thanks to the crushed seasoned wheat crackers.

1 egg
1 Tbsp. water
25 cracked pepper and olive oil woven wheat crackers, finely crushed (about 1 cup)
1 large zucchini (3/4 lb.), cut into 2x1/4-inch wedges
1/2 cup KRAFT Garlic Aioli

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450ºF.
  • Cover baking sheet with foil; spray with cooking spray.
  • Whisk egg and water in pie plate until blended. Place cracker crumbs in separate pie plate.
  • Dip zucchini wedges, 1 at a time, in egg, then in crumbs, turning to evenly coat each wedge with each ingredient.
  • Place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake 14 min. or until zucchini fries are tender, turning after 7 min. Remove from oven.
  • Heat broiler. Broil fries, 6 inches from heat, 2 min. or until golden brown. Serve with aioli.
