Steps:
- Cream together Parkey margarine, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and water until smooth.(I use a heavy-duty electric mixer.) Combine flour, oatmeal, salt, and baking soda; mix well. Add to creamed mixture in 2 or 3 batches, stir well after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
- Place heaping teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake in preheated 350 degrees F oven for 10-12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheets a few minutes before removing to wire racks to cool.
