I have had this recipe for awhile but not sure where I got it. I tried it for the first time this morning for breakfast so I am sharing a picture. They were easy and tasted delicious. My husband loved them.

Time 1h5m

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 1/2 c chopped, peeled apples
1 (10 oz) can flaky biscuits
1 Tbsp margarine, softened
1/3 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/3 c light corn syrup
1 large egg
1/2 c chopped pecans
GLAZE:
1/3 c powdered sugar
1-2 teaspoons milk
1/4 tsp milk

Steps:

  • 1. Generously grease bottom and sides of a 9 inch round cake pan with butter. Spread 1 cup chopped, peeled apples in bottom. Seperate 1 can flaky biscuits into 10 biscuits, cutting each into 4 pieces. Arrange over apples, pointed sides up. Top with another 1/2 cup apples. In a small bowl, combine margarine, brown sugar, cinnamon, light corn syrup, and egg. Beat until sugar dissolves. Stir in 1/2 cup pecan pieces. Spoon over biscuits and apples. Bake in a 350* oven for 35-45 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before topping with glaze.
