Colleen's Potato Casserole image

2 pounds hash brown potatoes
1 cans chicken soup
16 ounces sour cream
2 cups cheddar cheese
0.5 cups margarine
1 teaspoons salt
0.25 teaspoons pepper
1 units topping
0.25 cups butter
3 cups corn flakes

Steps:

  • Let potatoes thaw for 2-3 hours. Mix with sauce from all other ingredients (except topping), combining well. Place in lightly buttered 9x13-inch baking dish. Pat smooth - do not press down.
  • Top with the following mixture: 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine and corn flakes - mixed well.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
