Steps:
- 1. In a large heavy skillet, lightly brown meat and onion in oil.
- 2. Add tomatoes, paste, water, parsley, salt, sugar, garlic powder, pepper,and oregano and simmer uncovered about 30 minutes.
- 3. Cook noodles as directed; drain.
- 4. Spread about1 cup sauce in bottom of 9x13 pan
- 5. Alternate layers of noodles, sauce, ricotta, mozzarella & parmesan, ending with sauce, mozzarella & parmesan.
- 6. Bake 40-50 minutes @ 350. Allow to stand 15 minutes, cut in squares.
