Cita's Cilantro Dip / Cilantro Salad Dressing image

A co-worker shared this recipe with me and I've added my own touch to this. It is always a hit! I started making this into a salad dressing to compliment my King Ranch Chicken cassarole.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 bunch(es) cilantro, fresh
1 package(s) ranch style dressing mix
1 package(s) cream cheese, room temperature
1 jar(s) pickled jalapenos (medium heat)

Steps:

  • Wash and towel dry the cilantro.
  • In a food processor; add the cream cheese, cilantro, ranch dressing mix, and some pickled jalapenos. (start with a small amount and add according to your "heat" indicator). Add a little bit of the pickled jalapeno juice to thin the dip.
  • For Salad dressing add less pickled jalapenos, but more pickled jalapeno juice. This will still give you the heat, but allows the dressing to have a smooth pouring consistency.
