Cinnamon Sugar Swirl Bread image

You can find perfectly soft and moist bread for our favorite Cinnamon Sugar Swirl Bread recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 16

BREAD
2 cups All purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
6 tablespoon Light brown sugar
1 stick (1/2 cup or 4 ounces) Unsalted butter, softened
1 cup Granulated sugar
2 Eggs
1 cup Yogurt
1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
VANILLA GLAZE
1/2 cup Powdered sugar
1 tablespoon Milk
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F, then take a 9 x 5 loaf tin, line it with parchment paper and set aside. Meanwhile, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and then set aside.
  • Next, combine cinnamon and sugar in a smaller dish and set aside, too. Beat butter and sugar, adding eggs, yogurt and vanilla, until it is combined.
  • Add flour mixture , then and beat until combined, but be careful not to overbeat it.
  • Pour half of the batter in the 9 x 5 inch loaf tin and sprinkle with 1/2 of the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  • Then, pour the remaining batter and cinnamon- sugar mixture on top of it and swirl with a knife. Bake it for 55-60 minutes.
  • When it´s baked, leave the bread to cool in the loaf tin for a few minutes and then transfer to a wire to cool completely rack.
  • To make vanilla glaze you start by whisking powdered sugar, vanilla extract and milk until it becomes smooth and then drizzle vanilla glaze over the cooled bread.
