CINNAMON COFFEE CAKE image

Number Of Ingredients 15

Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 tbls cinnamon
1/4 cup canola oil
Cake:
2 1/4 cup flour
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
3 1/3 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1/3 cup canola oil
1 1/4 cup milk
1 tbls vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 (note: if using a glass pan, preheat oben to 350) 2. Spray your 9x13 pan with oil or crisco 3. Mix topping ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside 4. In a medium bowl, mix the dry cake ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients (egg, oil, milk and vanilla) 5. Add the wet to the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed 6. Pour in about a third of the cake batter into the pan and sprinkle half of the topping, spreading evenly to the edges. Pour over the rest of batter and the the rest of the topping. 7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean
