I love this cookie.The mint is not to strong and it tastes just like a brownie.I have to say if you love mint or brownies this cookie is for you.My son baked them for our day three of 25 days of cookies.

- 1. MELT 3/4 CUP MORSELS IN SMALL SAUCEPAN OVER LOWEST POSSIBLE HEAT.WHEN MORSELS BEGIN TO MELT,REMOVE FROM HEAT;STIR.RETURN TO HEAT FOR A FEW SECONDS AT A TIME,STIRRING UNTIL SMOOTH.IMMEDIATELY REMOVE SAUCEPAN FROM HEAT ONCE MORSELS ARE MELTED.COOL TO ROOM TEMPERATURE.
- 2. COMBINE FLOUR,BAKING SODA AND SALT IN SMALL BOWL. BEAT BUTTER,SUGAR,BROWN SUGAR,PEPPERMINT AND VANILLA IN LARGE MIXER BOWL UNTIL CREAMY. ADD EGGS ONE AT A TIME;BEATING WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION. BEAT IN MELTED CHOCOLATE. GRADUALLY BEAT IN FLOUR MIXTURE. STIR IN REMAINING MORSELS AND NUTS.
- 3. DROP DOUGH BY ROUNDED SPOONS ONTO UNGREASED BAKING SHEETS. BAKE AT 350* FOR 9 MINUTES OR UNTIL SIDES ARE SET BUT CENTERS ARE STILL SOFT. LET STAND FOR TWO MINUTES;REMOVE TO WIRE RACKS TO COOL COMPLETELY.
