Chocolate Kiss Cookies image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 3/4 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1/2 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Peanut butter
1 Egg
2 tablespoons Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
48 Chocolate kisses

Steps:

  • Mix all but chocolate kisses in a large bowl using mixer
  • Shape into round balls
  • Roll each ball in white sugar
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes
  • While hot from the oven top each with a chocolate kiss so that cookie cracks around the edge
