The secret is out on the cookies baked at Tall Oaks Inn. The owner (my sister-in-law) had to sign a non-disclosure agreement on the recipes for Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Cracked Sugar and Brown Sugar Pecan Rounds. These cookies were kept in cookie jars in the dining room for all the guests to enjoy whenever they needed a sweet fix. Now that the Inn has closed, the recipes were released. I am posting this recipe as it was given to me. You can cut everything in half to make a smaller batch. My favorite is the the Brown Sugar Pecan Rounds. NOTE: Stock photo

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream crisco, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in flour and baking soda. Add chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheets, 8-10 minutes.
