CHINESE GREEN BEANS image

1 lb thin green beans, whole
2 scallions, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 T Hoisin sauce
1 T Tamari
1 tsp minced fresh ginger
1-2 T peanut or sesame oil
(optional chili sauce)

Steps:

  • 1. Saute green beans on med-hi heat for about 7-8 minutes. They will start to blacken and soften. 2. Add scallions and garlic and stir until they start to brown. 3. Add sauce ingredients. Stir to coat well. Continue to cook until beans are done (still slightly crunchy).
