Chimichurri Sauce image

1/2 cup chopped Italian parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
1/4 cup chopped white onion
3 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons chopped red bell pepper
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 cup fresh lime juice, plus 1 tablespoon finely grated lime zest
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Refrigerate at least 2 hours to allow the ingredients to settle and the flavors to meld before serving.
